AN ORDINANCE concerning

Fee Refunds and Waivers

FOR the purpose of establishing a procedure whereby certain permit or license fees may be waived by resolution of the City Council for a project constructed by or on behalf of Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

BY repealing and re-enacting with amendments the following portions of the Code of the City of Annapolis, 2018 Edition
6.04.190


SECTION I: BE IT ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Code of the City of Annapolis shall be amended to read as follows:

TITLE 6 - REVENUE AND FINANCE

Chapter 6.04 - FINANCE AND TAXATION GENERALLY

Section 6.04.190 - Fee refunds and waivers.

A. Fees paid for permits or licenses shall not be refunded or waived by the City, except as provided in this Section. However,

B. fFees paid for appeal applications to the Board of Appeals and the Board of Building Appeals shall be refunded if the appeal is successful, in whole or in part, or fifty percent refund if the appeal is withdrawn by the applicant prior to the time of the hearing.

C. Fees for permits or licenses may be waived by resolution of the City Council for a project constructed by or on behalf of Anne Arundel County Public schools.


SECTION II: AND BE IT FURTHER ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that this ordinance shall take effect from the date of its passage.
