A RESOLUTION concerning

Public Works Maintenance Facility Task Force

FOR the purpose of establishing a temporary advisory Task Force to provide the City Council with findings and recommendations on the benefits and detriments of the appropriate location of the proposed maintenance facility described in the Maintenance Facilities capital project; and generally relating to the Task Force.

WHEREAS, on June 17, 2019, the City Council approved the establishment of a temporary advisory Task Force to analyze the benefits and detriments of the appropriate location of the proposed maintenance facility described in the Maintenance Facilities capital project; and

WHEREAS, the Task Force will submit its findings and recommendations to the City Council.

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the temporary advisory Task Force commissioned to provide the City Council with findings and recommendations on the benefits and detriments of the appropriate location of the proposed maintenance facility described in the Maintenance Facilities capital project be established.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Task Force consider the following issues:

* Environmental impacts, including the impact of the existing salt dome and fuel pumps and impacts on City waterways
* Land swap, title search, historical significance, easements
* Housing - need, type, affordability
* Zoning - special ex...
