A RESOLUTION concerning

 

Management Information Technology (MIT) Manager - Brian Paquin

 

FOR                     the purpose of expressly confirming the appointment of Brian Paquin as the MIT Manager; and consenting to compensate the MIT Manager.

 

WHEREAS,                     the Annapolis City Code, Section 3.08.030.F.1 provides that the appointment and initial salary for the MIT Manager is subject to confirmation by the City Council; and

 

WHEREAS,                     the MIT Manager position became vacant on November 1, 2019; and

 

WHEREAS,                      Mr. Paquin’s education, training, and experience exceeds the minimum qualifications required for the position of MIT Manager; and

 

WHEREAS,                     pursuant to the foregoing City Code provision, the City Council is required to expressly consent to the confirmation and compensation of the MIT Manager.

 

NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the appointment of Brian Paquin to the position of MIT Manager is expressly confirmed and that the City Council consents to compensate Mr. Paquin as MIT Manager in the amount of $112,829 per annum, effective March 31, 2020.
