A RESOLUTION concerning
Amendment to the Capital Improvement Program: FY 2014 to FY 2019 Concerning the Annapolis Police Department Indoor Firing Range
 
FOR      the purposes of adopting an amendment to the capital improvement program for the six-year period from July 1, 2013, to June 30, 2019 concerning the Annapolis Police Department indoor firing range.
 
WHEREAS,      Section 6.16.030 of the Code of the City of Annapolis requires the Annapolis City Council to approve a capital improvement program (CIP) for each fiscal year on a six-year basis; and
 
WHEREAS,      on April 8, 2013, the Annapolis City Council held a public hearing on the CIP for the six-year period from July 1, 2013, to June 30, 2019; and
 
WHEREAS,      the CIP was referred to the Planning Commission, which after notice published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City seven days prior to the meeting, held a meeting to receive evidence and testimony as it judged to be relevant to the proper consideration of the capital budget and program; and
 
WHEREAS,      it is necessary to amend the CIP to include the Annapolis Police Department indoor firing range due to the timing associated with State bond bill legislation (House Bill 493 and Senate Bill 488).
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that pursuant to the provisions of Section 6.16.030 of the Code of the City of Annapolis, it hereby adopts the amendment to the Capital Improvement Program for the City of Annapolis for the six-year period from July 1, 2013, to June 30, 2019, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution and is made a part hereof.
