A RESOLUTION concerning
Collective Bargaining Agreements -
International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 1926, AFSCME 3162, and AFSCME 3406
FOR the purpose of submitting a written memorandum of Collective Bargaining Agreements between the City of Annapolis and IAFF Local 1926, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Locals 3162 and 3406 for the Fiscal Years 2025 through 2026 to the City Council for its ratification or rejection.
WHEREAS, The City of Annapolis and IAFF Local 1926, AFSCME 3162, and AFSCME 3406 employee organizations have, through appropriate officials or their representatives, negotiated collectively and in good faith with respect to the terms and conditions of employment of employees in the organization; and
WHEREAS, A written memorandum of Collective Bargaining Agreements between the City of Annapolis and IAFF Local 1926, AFSCME Local 3162, and AFSCME Local 3406 for the Fiscal Years 2025 through 2026 is hereby submitted to the City Council for its ratification or rejection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the City Council hereby adopts the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Annapolis and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 1926, and American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Locals 3162 and 3406 for the Fiscal Years 2025 through 2026.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreements between the City of Annapolis and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 1926, and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Locals 3162 and 3406, for the Fiscal Years 2025 through 2026 shall take effect on July 1, 2024.
