A RESOLUTION concerning
Fees Related to O-11-26, Allowing Long-Term Room Rentals in Private Homes
FOR the purpose of updating the Fees to add a rooming house operating license fee and to amend existing rental license fee descriptions in connection with Ordinance 11-26, which establishes a regulatory framework permitting rooming houses (boarding houses) as long-term rentals in private residences and provides for licensing, operational standards, and zoning approval.
WHEREAS, O-11-26 authorizes Rooming Houses in the City of Annapolis and requires licensing fees to cover the City’s cost of implementing the program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Fees Schedule shall be amended as follows:
