SECTION I: BE IT ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Code of the City of Annapolis shall be amended to read as follows:
Title 12 - VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC
Chapter 12.20 - Stopping, Standing and Parking
Section 12.20.180 - EightNine-hour parking on King George Street between Wagner Street and the King George Street Bridge.
A. It is unlawful and a misdemeanor for the driver of any vehicle to park such vehicle for longer than eight consecutive hours on any day on King George Street between Wagner Street and the King George Street Bridge.
B. Any person violating this section, upon conviction, is subject to a fine as established by resolution of the City Council.
C. Persons holding a valid special residential parking district No. 1 permit shall be exempt from this restriction.
Section 12.20.185 - Nine-hour parking on St. John's Street between College Avenue and Calvert Street.
A. It is unlawful and a misdemeanor for the driver of any vehicle to park such vehicle for longer than nine consecutive hours on any day on St. John's Street between College Avenue and Calvert Street.
B. Any person violating this section, upon conviction, is subject to a fine as established by resolution of the City Council.
C. Persons holding a valid special residential parking district No. 1 permit shall be exempt from this restriction.

Chapter 12.32 - Special Residential Parking Districts
Section 12.32.020 - Parking restrictions within district.
A. Residential Parking Districts. Except for areas designated by City signage as reserved parking or no parking zones, a residential parking permit authorizes a resident of that district to park permitted vehicles all day on the designated streets within that district. A vehicle is permitted if the vehicle is registered with the City or the authorized agent as a permit holder. See Sections 12.32.150-12.32.181 of this chapter for Special Residential Parking Districts information.
1. Except for areas designated by City signage, a residential parking permit allows a resident of that district to park authorized vehicles all day on the designated streets within that district.
2. A vehicle is authorized if it is registered with the City or the authorized agent as a permit holder.

B. Parking Maps. Parking maps are located on the City's website. Street listings in the City Code prevail over any conflict between the parking map and the parking district street lists in the City Code.
C. Parking District Eligibility. Except as provided elsewhere in the City Code, a resident is eligible for a residential parking permit only when the resident's address is on one of the streets within a residential parking district per Sections § 12.32.150-12.32.181 of this chapter.
Section 12.32.160 - Special residential parking district No. 2.
A. There is a special residential parking district, Number 2, which consists of the following streets listed here and on a map as maintained on the City website:
Anne Lane;
Cathedral Street, between South Street and Conduit Street (Cathedral Street between South Street and West Street is in District No. 3);
Charles Street;
Compromise Street, the western side of Compromise Street between Main Street and Duke of Gloucester Street;
Conduit Street;
Duke of Gloucester Street;
Green Street;
Newman Street;
Main Street;
Market Street;
North Acton Place;
Revell Street;
Richard's Lane;
Saint Mary's Street;
Shaw Street, between South Street and Franklin Street;
Shipwright Street, between Market Street and #1 Shipwright Street (Lot 2 of Parcel 1245, plat reference 5725/0833);
