A RESOLUTION concerning

 

Fiscal Year 2027 Fines Schedule - Eviction Notices and Property Disposal

 

FOR                     the purpose of creating fines for violations related to the tenant eviction process in the City of Annapolis, established by adoption of O-30-26.

 

WHEREAS,                      O-30-26 updates the City Code to set notice requirements for tenant evictions in the City of Annapolis, regulate the removal and disposal of an evicted tenant's personal property, and establish penalties for violations; and

 

WHEREAS,                      This resolution sets the fines related to §§ 18.12.030, 18.12.040, and 18.12.050 of the City Code and mandates that the fines be incorporated into the Fiscal Year 2027 Fines Schedule.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Fiscal Year 2027 Fines Schedule is amended to add the following:
