A RESOLUTION concerning

Amending 2015 Dates of First Sundays Festivals

FOR                     For the purpose of amending the dates on which the First Sundays Festivals are authorized to sell merchandise in the Historic District by adding the first Sunday in November and removing the first Sunday in December of year 2015.

WHEREAS,                     the City Council approved R-5-15 as amended on March 23, 2015 authorizing sales at certain special events in the Historic District during 2015; and

WHEREAS,                     R-5-15 authorized sales by First Sundays on the First block of West and Calvert on May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2, September 6, October 4 and December 6, 2015; and

WHEREAS,                     The Inner West Street Business Association now wishes to hold the last First Sunday in November instead of December.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the authorized dates for sales in the Historic District at First Sundays Festivals shall be May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2, September 6, October 4 and NOVEMBER 1 December 6, 2015.
