A RESOLUTION concerning

Audit Committee Appointment

FOR                     the purpose of confirming the appointment of Alderwoman Tierney to the Audit Committee.

WHEREAS,                     pursuant to Section 2.48.400 of the Annapolis City Code, the Mayor shall recommend to the City Council all aldermanic appointments to the Audit Committee, and aldermanic appointments shall be confirmed by a majority of the City Council; and

WHEREAS,                     on September 23, 2019, the City Council confirmed the aldermanic appointments to the Audit Committee by adopting R-42-19; and

WHEREAS,                     since the passage of R-42-19, there has become an aldermanic vacancy on the Audit Committee and the Mayor recommends the appointment of Alderwoman Tierney to fill that vacancy.

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the appointment of Alderwoman Tierney to the Audit Committee is hereby confirmed.
