AN ORDINANCE concerning

Street End Park Hours

FOR the purpose of setting hours when the public may use a street end park in the City of Annapolis; and generally related to public peace and order.

BY repealing and reenacting with amendment the following portions of the Code of the City of Annapolis, 2023 Edition:
11.12.070
11.12.080
11.12.090

BY enacting with amendments the following portions of the Code of the City of Annapolis, 2023 Edition:
11.12.085

SECTION I: BE IT ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Code of the City of Annapolis shall be amended to read as follows:

Title 11 - PUBLIC PEACE, MORALS AND WELFARE
Chapter 11.12 - Public Peace and Order

11.12.070 - Chambers Park hours.
A person may not enter or be present on the City property known as Chambers Park, either on foot or by means of any vehicle, at any time between the hours of nine p.m. and six a.m. the following morningsunset and sunrise, except for the purpose of attending or participating in an activity, program or event sponsored by or conducted under the auspices of the Department of Recreation and Parks.

11.12.080 - Amos Garrett Park hours.
A person may not enter or be present on the City property known as Amos Garrett Park, either on foot or by means of any vehicle, at any time between the hours of nine p.m. and six a.m. the following morningsunset and sunrise, except for the purpose of attending or participating in an activity, program or event sponsored by or conducted under the auspices of the Department of Recreation and Parks.
