AN ORDINANCE concerning
Removing Streets from Special Residential Parking District, Number 5

FOR the purpose of removing Forbes Street and Monterey Avenue from Special Residential Parking District Number 5; and generally relating to Special Residential Parking District Number 5.

BY repealing and reenacting with amendments the following portions of the Code of the City of Annapolis, 2026 Edition:
? Section 12.32.181

SECTION I: BE IT ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Code of the City of Annapolis shall be amended to read as follows:
City Code Title 12- VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC
Chapter 12.32 - Special Residential Parking Districts

Section 12.32.181 Special residential parking district No. 5.

A. There is a special residential parking district, Number 5, which consists of the following streets listed here and on a map as maintained on the City website:
Annapolis Street, between Taylor Avenue and Melvin Avenue; and
Forbes Street, between Monterey Avenue and Giddings Avenue;
Giddings Avenue, between Forbes Street and Tucker Street;
Monterey Avenue, between Forbes Street and Tucker Street.
B. Hourly Parking. Parking hours and time limits shall be subject to regulations promulgated by the City Manager, in consultation with the director of the Department of Transportation per ? 12.24.070. The director shall brief the City Council Transportation Committee of any changes.

SECTION II: AND BE IT FINALLY ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that this ordinance shall take effect upon pa...
