A RESOLUTION concerning
Non-Profit Vendors During Fall Boat Shows
FOR the purpose of authorizing sales by certain vendors in the City Dock area of the Historic District during the Fall 2019 U.S. Sailboat and Powerboat Shows.
WHEREAS, on July 25, 2016, the Annapolis City Council passed Ordinance 8-16 amending the requirements related to a license for peddlers, hawkers, and itinerant merchants pursuant to Chapter 7.40 of the Annapolis City Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 7.40.090 of the City Code allows the City Council to designate certain days of the year, places and times when peddlers, hawkers and itinerant merchants may be licensed to sell in the Historic District or a nonresidential area.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the following vendor sales in the City Dock area of the Historic District during October 3-6 and October 10-14, 2019, are hereby approved pursuant to Section 7.40.090 of the Municipal Code of the City of Annapolis:
• Mt. Zion United Methodist Church
• Optimist of Annapolis
• Boy Scouts of America-Cub Scouts Pack 422
• Boy Scouts of America-Cub Scouts Pack 366
• Boy Scouts of America-Cub Scouts Pack 153
• St. Mary’s Athletic Association
• Hospice of the Chesapeake
AND BE IT FURTHER ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that this resolution shall take effect from the date of its passage.
