A RESOLUTION concerning
Fees for Clearing Snow and Ice from City Sidewalks
FOR the purpose of establishing fees and fines required by the adoption of O-6,25, Clearing Snow and Ice from City Sidewalks.

WHEREAS, O-6-25, Clearing Snow and Ice from City Sidewalks includes the authority for the City to issue certain fees and fines; and

WHEREAS, The amount of those fees/fines needs to be established by resolution.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that

1. The Fees Schedule and Fines Schedule shall be amended as follows:

2. The Council hereby authorizes the Department to develop and publish regulations to implement this provision, which shall specify how tier measurements are made and how adjacent property owners shall be held accountable for the snow removal fees and fines. Said regulations shall be published by the Department within 90 days of passage of this Ordinance; and

3. This resolution shall be effective on the date of its adoption.
