A RESOLUTION concerning
Transit Routes and Services
FOR the purpose of making changes to the Annapolis Department of Transportation's transit services and routes in order to meet the goals and objectives of the fiscal year 2015 budget.
WHEREAS, the adopted fiscal year 2015 budget included a reduction of $3.3 million dollars from the Transportation Department's budget with the understanding of revisiting the reductions in routes and services necessary to achieve a balanced budget; and
WHEREAS, the Annapolis Department of Transportation prepared a study to determine how to best address the budget issue; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Board has met and considered, and held a public hearing in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, on proposed changes to routes and services; and
WHEREAS, the proposed changes to routes and services will enable the fiscal year 2015 to remain balanced; and
WHEREAS, the proposed changes are hereby submitted to the City Council for consideration and approval.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the proposed changes are as follows on the chart on Page 2 of this Resolution:
