A RESOLUTION concerning
Gary M. Elson
FOR the purpose of recognizing the dedication and professionalism of Gary M. Elson in his capacity as Acting City Attorney from June 2016 to December 2016.
WHEREAS, Gary M: Elson was Acting City Attorney for the City of Annapolis from June 2016 to December 2016; and
WHEREAS, While representing the City as the Acting City Attorney, Mr. Elson accomplished great things for our citizens, including successfully resolving multiple legislative matters resulting in passage of important ordinances dealing with land conveyances, maritime harbor lines, issuance of revenue bonds and a multitude of other issues; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Elson’s experience and professional manner served the City well as he accomplished the duties and fulfilled the responsibilities of that office; and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges Mr. Elson’s dedication and applauds his work ethic; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to express its sincerest gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Elson, who has returned to his position of Assistant City Attorney, where he continues to contribute to the many accomplishments of the Office of Law.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the dedication and professionalism of Gary M. Elson in his capacity as Acting City Attorney from June 2016 to December 2016 is hereby acknowledged.
