A RESOLUTION concerning

FY 2024 Fines Schedule Correction

FOR                     the purpose of correcting Fiscal Year 2024 fines under Title 17 of the City code.

WHEREAS,                     pursuant to Title 1, Chapter 1.20 - General Penalty and Municipal Infractions, of the City Code, fines are authorized in the City Code and established by resolution of the City Council; and

WHEREAS,                     the City of Annapolis seeks to update the fines imposed for municipal infractions; and

WHEREAS,                     fines for §17.07.130 and §17.07.200 were inadvertently removed from the adopted Fiscal Year 2024 Fines Schedule.

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Fiscal Year 2024 Fines Schedule shall be corrected by adding the following:

17.07.130	Illicit Discharge and Connection Stormwater	Civil action - not to exceed $10,000 per day	Not to exceed $10,000 per day
17.07.200	Illicit Discharge and Connection Stormwater	Criminal action - misdemeanor subject to fine not to exceed $5,000 per day	Not to exceed $5,000 per day

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that this resolution shall take effect upon passage.
