A RESOLUTION concerning
Non-Profit Vendors During Fall 2025 Boat Shows
FOR the purpose of authorizing sales by certain vendors in the City Dock area of the Historic District during the Fall 2025 U.S. Sailboat and Powerboat Shows.
WHEREAS, Section 7.40.090 of the City Code allows the City Council to designate certain days of the year, places, and times when peddlers, hawkers, and itinerant merchants may be licensed to sell in the Historic District or a nonresidential area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the following vendor sales in the City Dock area of the Historic District during October 2-5 and October 9-12, 2025, are hereby approved:
Mount Zion United Methodist Church;
Optimist of Annapolis;
Boy Scouts of America - Cub Scout Pack 422;
Boy Scouts of America - Cub Scout Pack 366;
Boy Scouts of America - Cub Scout Pack 154;
St. Mary’s Athletic Association; and
Hospice of the Chesapeake.
AND BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that this resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
