Resilience & Sustainability Update
Deputy City Manager for Resilience and Sustainability Guild was present to
answer questions from the committee.
Alderman Savidge requested Deputy City Manager for Resilience and
Sustainability Guild have Director of Public Works Vogel give an update at the
next meeting or in March to the committee on the Seawall/Flood Barrier being
built at the City Dock on the following:
1. Is the technology finalized?
2. Why the City made the shift?
3.Where will the barriers be stored?
Alderman Savidge requested Deputy City Manager for Resilience and
Sustainability Guild provide the following updates at the March 12th, 2026
Environmental Matters Committee meeting:
1. A map from AMRI of the top 10 list of potential Flood Mitigation Projects on the
Eastport Peninsula.
2. Update on Green House Gas

adjourned at 5:07 pm.
