Alderman Huntley, Chief of Staff Petit, Office of Emergency Management Chief  
Simmons and African American Liaison Ajayi were present to answer questions  
from the committee.  
Alderwoman Pindell Charles requested this program be in the Mayor's Budget  
presentation.  
Office of Emergency Management Update (OEM)  
Alderman Huntley and Office of Emergency Management Chief Simmons were  
present to answer questions from the committee.  
Annapolis Fire Department Update (AFD)  
Attachments:

Powell were present to answer questions from the committee.  
Annapolis Police Department Update (APD)  
Alderman Huntley, Chief Jackson, Deputy Chief Brandford, Assistant City Attorney  
Berger, Captain Miguez, Operations Captain Howard and PIO Officer Jackson  
were present to answer questions from the committee.  
Alderman Gay requested an email from the Chief of Police Jackson for how  
Annapolis Police Department(APD) deals with parents of teens with firearms.  
Legislation  
Police Department -- Property and Contraband Disposal - For the purpose of  
clarifying that Annapolis will follow state rules on the disposal of abandoned vehicles  
and generally dealing with property and contraband disposal.

answer questions from the committee.  
Amendment #1 - Alderman Gay moved to Recommend Amendment #1 Favorably  
as Amended. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote.  
Alderman Gay moved to Recommend O-28-24 Favorably as Amended. Seconded.  
CARRIED on voice vote.

Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the Regular Meeting was  
adjourned at 9:43pm.
