A RESOLUTION concerning
Collective Bargaining Agreement -
International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 1926
For the purpose of ratifying the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Annapolis and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 1926 for the Fiscal Years 2027 through 2028.
WHEREAS, The City of Annapolis (the “City”) and International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 1926 (“IAFF”), an employee organization, have, through appropriate officials or their representatives, negotiated collectively and in good faith with respect to the terms and conditions of employment of employees in the organization for Fiscal Years 2027 through 2028; and
WHEREAS, In accordance with the Charter of the City of Annapolis § 3.32.110, the City Council desires to ratify the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and IAFF for the Fiscal Year 2027 through 2028.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the City Council hereby ratifies the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Annapolis and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 1926 for the Fiscal Years 2027 through 2028, entitled “Agreement Between City of Annapolis and Loal 1926, International Association of Firefighters, AFL-CIO, (Annapolis Professional Firefighters), Effective: July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2028,” a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that this resolution shall take effect upon passage.
