AN ORDINANCE concerning
Building Board of Appeals Member Qualifications
FOR the purpose of amending the membership qualifications of the Building Board of Appeals so that at least one member has a working knowledge in the fields of forest conservation and environmental matters.
BY amending the following portion of the Code of the City of Annapolis, 2012 Edition
Section 2.48.070
SECTION I: BE IT ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Code of the City of Annapolis shall be amended to read as follows:
Chapter 2.48, ARTICLE III - Building Board of Appeals
2.48.070 - Section of the City Code to be Amended.
The Building Board of Appeals shall consist of members who are qualified by experience and training to pass on matters pertaining to building construction, FOREST CONSERVATION OR ENVIRONMENTAL MATTERS. AT LEAST ONE MEMBER OF THE BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS SHALL HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELDS OF FOREST CONSERVATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL MATTERS. NONE OF THE MEMBERS SHALL BE and are not employees of the City.
SECTION II: AND BE IT FURTHER ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that this Ordinance shall take effect from the date of its passage.
