AN ORDINANCE concerning

 

City Council Meetings - Rules of Procedure

 

FOR                     the purpose of modifying the time to present petitions, reports, and communications. 

 

BY                        repealing and re-enacting with amendments the following portions of the Code of the City of Annapolis, 2019 Edition

2.16.035

 

 

SECTION I:                     BE IT ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Code of the City of Annapolis shall be amended to read as follows:

 

Title 2 - ADMINISTRATION

Chapter 2.16 - RULES OF PROCEDURE

 

2.16.035 - Time limitation-Petitions, reports and communications.

 

A person appearing before the City Council with a petition, report or communication shall be limited to a presentation of not more than fiveTHREE minutes. The time specified in this rule may be changed at any time by a majority vote.

 

SECTION II:  AND BE IT FURTHER ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that this ordinance shall take effect from the date of its passage.
