A RESOLUTION concerning

 

City Sponsored Special Events in Fiscal Year 2022 - Amended

 

FOR                     the purpose of adding the Juneteenth Parade and Festival to the approved Fiscal Year 2022 City Sponsored Special Events; and providing for a waiver of certain related City fees.

 

 

WHEREAS,                     on April 26, 2021, the City Council adopted R-11-21 approving the City Sponsored Special Events for Fiscal Year 2022 and waiving certain related City fees.

 

WHEREAS,                     the City Council wishes to add the Juneteenth Parade and Festival to the list of approved City Sponsored Special Events for Fiscal Year 2022.

 

NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Juneteenth Parade and Festival is designated a City Sponsored Special Event during Fiscal Year 2022, in recognition of its significance to our heritage and public service to our City.

 

AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that there shall be a waiver of certain fees for the Juneteenth Parade and Festival as identified in the Staff Report attached to this Resolution and incorporated by reference.
