A RESOLUTION concerning

 

Position Classifications - Amendment

 

FOR the purpose of amending the Fiscal Year 2021 position classifications.

 

WHEREAS,                     Section 3.12.020 A. of the City Code, states that the City Council “in conjunction with the adoption of the annual operating budget and whenever deemed necessary, shall consider the recommendations of the Civil Service Board on requests for the creation of new positions, the abolishment of positions, and the classification and reclassification of existing positions”; and

 

WHEREAS,                     on December 17, 2019, the Civil Service Board recommended creating a new position “Police Administrative Manager” at pay grade 15; and

 

WHEREAS,                     the Amended FY 2021 position classifications are attached to this Resolution for adoption by the City Council.

 

NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that the Fiscal Year 2021 position classifications are amended and adopted as attached.

 

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE ANNAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL that this Resolution shall take effect upon the date of its passage.
